Understanding the Loan Process

Applying for a loan online is fast and easy, provided you understand the process.

Who can apply for a loan through us?

To be eligible for one of our loans you must be a permanent Australian resident, aged 18 years or older, with a regular permanent income.

What information do I need?

When completing the application, you will need to provide:

  • Your current Australian driver's licence details (or your Passport details if you do not have a driver’s licence)
  • Details of your current financial situation
  • Your contact details including email address.

We may use the contact information that you give us to contact you to help you complete your application.

What to expect

  • Complete your application in 6 easy steps. Allow 10 to 15 minutes to complete your application online
  • Once you have submitted the application, you will receive an email notification advising you that we have receive your application and commenced the assessment process.
  • You will also receive a number of disclosure documents by email. Please read these and save them for future record.
  • We will respond to you within 2 working days:
  • To advise you of the application outcome once we have assessed your application and verified all the information you have supplied;
  • To obtain further information in order for us to complete processing your loan
  • If you don’t have all the information you need you can save a partially completed application and return to it, within 14 days, to complete the required information. We will issue you a secure login and password to the email address you supply us.

Final approval of your loan depends on

  • Your agreement to the Privacy Act Consent and other agreements
  • Our verification of the details you have provided including a credit check on each applicant
  • Your ability to provide us with any further information we may require to finalise your loan

Documentation and your loan funds

Once we have completed our final assessment and the loan has been approved, we will:

  • Arrange to get all the necessary documentation to you to be reviewed, signed and returned to us
  • Once the documentation is complied, funds will be disbursed as detailed in your loan contract.

Our Responsible Lending Obligations

When providing credit to you we are required to make a final assessment that the loan is 'not unsuitable' for you before entering into the credit contract.

The responsible lending obligations of the National Credit Code require us to:

  1. make reasonable inquiries about your requirements and objectives in relation to the credit;
  2. make reasonable inquiries about your financial situation (ie. to determine whether you can repay the loan);
  3. take reasonable steps to verify your financial situation; and
  4. make a final assessment about whether the credit contract is 'not unsuitable' for you.

The personal information and details you provide as part of this application will be used by us to conduct our assessment. It is important that the information you provide us is true and accurate.
